It’s Black Friday 2014. While Canadian online stores aren’t as generous as their American counterparts, there’s still tons of deals to be had. However, I’m not so crazy about shopping that I’d actually go out, line up so early in the morning, and attempt to outwrestle other shoppers just to get good deals.
Then I thought why not just shop online? Online deals are as good as in-store deals and without the hassle. Plus I have some money in my PayPal account that’s been sitting there for a while now. I might as well spend it.
But which stores in Canada accept PayPal? I tried Googling for the answer, but of the billions of websites in the world, none had a list of Canadian online stores that accept PayPal. So I thought I’d come up with the list myself. Enjoy!
- Best Buy Canada: Sells electronics, video games, computers, smart phones, tablets, and other items for the inner geek in all of us. Offers free shipping for purchases over $25. Also currently offering 5% cash back on purchases made using PayPal.
- Future Shop: Sells the same stuff as Best Buy (they’re probably owned by the same company). Also offers free shipping for purchases over $25 and 5% cash back for PayPal purchases.
- Tiger Direct: Sells (more or less) the same stuff as Best Buy and Future Shop.
- Shop.ca: Sells all sorts of things. It’s like eBay without the bidding. The prices are usually higher though than what
- Etsy Canada: A marketplace for smaller, independent shops and retailers.
- Toys R Us Canada: Sells toys (what else?).
- Kobo: Sells ereaders and ebooks.
- Hudson’s Bay: This is a department store, similar to Macy’s, JC Penney, etc.
- SportChek: Sell sporting goods, shoes, jackets, etc.
- The Shopping Channel: Sells all sorts of things — brand name electronics, makeup, home furnishings and jewellery.
If you know of any other Canadian online stores or websites that accept Paypal, let me know in the comments section below and I’ll add them to the list.
