There are thousands of domain name registrars out there. How do you choose from which domain registrar to buy your domain name or web address.
On this page, we list the ten most established and reputable (based on our experience) domain name registrars out there. Of course, some of these registrars are being bashed by unhappy customers — we believe that’s only because you can’t please everybody.
- Go Daddy: Cheapest domain name registrar, based on our experience. Support isn’t always stellar (we received canned responses a few times), but then again you usually will not experience issues with your domain name after you buy it. Also, Go Daddy supports free domain name push (internal transfer to another Go Daddy account), in case you decide to sell your domain name.
